Shootout Golf Rules
All competitions run by Shootout Golf will be run under the Royal & Ancient Rules Of Golf
The following rules apply to all events held in Australia and you will need to acknowledge that you have read them at the bottom of the page and will super seed the R & A Rules as follows.
1st Rule – All plyers will have to adhere to the three minute rule when looking for a ball.
Penalty will be to lose 1 point in the Super Six Draw or if on multiple occasions you will disqualified from the days event.
2nd Rule – Where the cut portion of the fairway meets the first part of the rough, this will be treated as lateral hazard. This will mean that you will, treat this line as lateral hazard and then follow the rules of the R & A Rules. If you cannot find any ball in a Shootout you drop your ball 20 metres back from where it last crossed the cut portion of the fairway. (You will treat all other hazards as you would normally as per the R & A Rules.)
4th Rule – Due to Rule 2, there will be no lost ball or out of bounds rule as per the
